DC Systems is a leading developer of Smart Grid software for utilities and large energy users. Founded in 1990, the company has pioneered solutions that provide powerful architectural advantages by combining distributed intelligence SCADA computing with centralized data management. Customers worldwide use the DC Systems RTscada™ family of products to put intelligence where it is needed—in hundreds of locations such as substations, control centers, and power generation sites—while centralizing configuration, administration and monitoring at the enterprise level. Our advanced solutions enable utility companies and energy providers to achieve better operational efficiencies, reduce operating costs, and provide higher levels of reliability and service to their customers.
Our products include communication gateways, HMI and substation master solutions, transmission and distribution SCADA, enterprise data management systems, and more. We partner with industry innovators such as Landis+Gyr and Silver Spring Networks to broaden our range of leading-edge solutions for the energy industry. All of our software is designed to work with products from multiple manufacturers. In addition, our range of solutions includes software that is fully certified to enable power generators to pass secure, real-time data and commands between a generation site and the local power authority—including the California Independent System Operator (CAISO).
We are headquartered in Pleasanton, California, and provide in-house, personalized planning, engineering, installation, and technical support services for our customers.
Let us turn your data into smart data.
