Multi-Faceted Alarming
Alarming is central to the operation of a modern SCADA system. Once again, RTscada delivers a powerful, flexible solution. The server alarm manager supports these advanced features:
- Separate seasonal limits (winter/summer)
- Four alarms per analog point (low low, low, high, high high)
- High and low instrument range alarms
- Auto alarm inhibit based on number of alarms in a time period
- Audio (.wav) files attached to alarms
- Flexible alarm routing to printers/consoles
- Support for different alarms at multiple masters
- User defined alarm message text and colors
The client alarm display program provides powerful capabilities such as:
- Ten summaries
- Sorting by time, device or point.
- Point control via pop-ups
- Priority filter
- Alarm ack by single alarm, page or all
