Configuration database

The RTscada configuration database uses the industry standard Microsoft Access database. All configuration data is stored in tables and is entered and maintained using user-friendly forms. Using a unique on-line editing technology, changes to the configuration database can be applied to a running system without requiring a system restart.

Real-Time database

RTscada uses advanced memory-resident database (MRDB) technology for storing real-time data. This provides high-speed performance, hundreds of times faster than traditional disk resident databases. The MRDB features a distributed architecture, with changes propagated via publish and subscribe exception changes

Time Tagging

All log-on and control actions contain an embedded, encrypted time tag. This prevents a packet from being captured with a network sniffer and replayed at a later date.
